We are a professional service and require these Terms and Conditions to be read and signed

before a booking can be made.

 

Confidentiality

All work undertaken by Dream Organised is treated in confidence.

Data will be kept in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and will be kept secure and password protected.  Data will only be kept for as long as is necessary to process the data.

No details regarding clients or information relating to work carried out will be disclosed or passed to a third party without prior consent unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Insurance

Dream Organised has public liability and professional indemnity insurance up to £1,000,000 which is activated upon signature of the terms and conditions document. You agree to cover any breakages through your home contents insurance.

 

Disclaimer

For the best results, our service requires working with you to guide you on decisions regarding items leaving your home as part of the decluttering process. All decisions are ultimately yours and you take full responsibility for them. Dream Organised does not accept any liability for your decisions.

 

Duty of care

You have a duty of care to ensure that your premises are safe to work in, and you agree to disclose as soon as possible any circumstances which might put any staff at Dream Organised at risk. For example, infectious medical conditions, pets that we need to be aware of or structural weaknesses in your property. For the purposes of safety or emergencies, another person will always know our location and session timings. We reserve the right to refuse to work in a property that we feel is unsafe to work in.

 

Work limitations

While Dream Organised ultimately focusses on decluttering and organising, we will help with light cleaning, dusting and hoovering of areas during the process. We will move items to other areas of the home where appropriate unless the item requires more people to lift it safely due to size and/or weight.

 

The booking process

Upon contacting Dream Organised, an initial consultation of approximately 30 minutes will be arranged. This may be in person (if the venue is within a 10-mile radius of our address at West Malling, Kent) or online. This consultation is free and enables us to understand more about your space and lifestyle.

 

Hours of work

Session fees will be charged for the time between arrival and departure at the session venue. Bookings will be made for a pre-agreed period. However, it is not possible to estimate exactly how long a session will take, due to the volume of items, pace of working and speed of decision making.  It might sometimes be possible to extend the session on the day if required. Your final invoice will be amended to reflect this. Alternatively, an additional session can be booked at a time convenient to both parties. If you choose to end the session at an earlier time to that agreed at the point of booking, you will still be invoiced up until the session was due to finish.

Normal working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. An additional £10 per hour will be charged for Saturdays and Sundays.

 

Fees

Face to face sessions can be booked for a minimum 3-hour session (except in special circumstances) with prices starting at £120, depending on location and removal of items. Higher rates apply at weekends and bank holidays. Sessions may be extended in hourly increments. Remote sessions are also available. Contact hello@dreamorganised.co.uk to discuss this further.

 

Deposit and cancellation policy

To secure a booking, a deposit of £40 must be made. This is fully refundable if the session needs to be cancelled or postponed 48 hours or more before the start of the session. Please give as much notice as possible so the session can be allocated elsewhere.

 

Payment terms

An invoice for the remaining balance will be issued within 7 days after the session is complete. Payment will be due 7 days from the date on the invoice. Bank details will be provided on the invoice and electronic transfer is our preferred method of payment. If electronic transfer is not possible, we are happy to discuss alternative methods of payment. Please get in touch at hello@dreamorganised.co.uk.

 

Travel

Travel to your location is included within 10 miles of West Malling, ME19. 45p per mile is charged outside of this radius.

 

Access and parking

During the initial consultation, it is your responsibility to inform us of any access or parking information that we will need to carry out the service. Where free parking is not available, parking expenses will be submitted with your final invoice for reimbursement.

 

Breaks and refreshment

We will provide our own snacks and lunch (where a session covers a lunch break). You will not be charged for our lunch break.

 

Removal of items

If you have chosen this option, Dream Organised will remove up to one car boot load of items per session to take to the charity shop as per the costs outlined in your booking invoice. Items are non-refundable once removed. Dream Organised does not accept any liability for your decisions or for any item which you later decide was not to be removed, was valuable or cannot be found. We are unable to take items to the tip but can provide information on local services if required. We do not have the expertise to identify items of special value or rarity.

 

Other services and suppliers

Where purchases are made on your behalf, for example storage boxes, the amount will be added to your invoice.

If required, we are happy to suggest additional services such as cleaners, carpenters, etc and will do our best to ensure they are qualified for the job. However, we are not liable for the quality of their work, nor for any loss or damage caused by the suggested services. Charges for the additional services are payable by you to the supplier directly.

 

Photographs

Photographs may be taken at an in-person initial consultation for the purposes of preparing for the session. In the event of the initial consultation being remote, you may choose to send us photographs for this same purpose. Photographs will be deleted after the session has been completed. If you wish for anonymous before and after photographs to feature on our website or social media, you will be invited to complete a consent form.
